What is an issuance?
An issuance is a certificate sent to a recipient. Each issuance:
- Generates a unique SHA-256 hash for verification
- Delivers the certificate by email and, when enabled, by WhatsApp
- Counts toward your monthly limit
- Remains active after issuance
An event with 50 recipients consumes 50 issuances.
Billing cycle
Your quota renews on your billing cycle date — that is, the day your subscription started, not the first day of each month.
Example: if you subscribed on March 15, your quota renews on the 15th of every month.
Check your current usage and billing cycle date at Settings → Billing.
What happens when you cancel
- Already-issued certificates remain active and verifiable
- New issuances are blocked immediately
- Events remain visible in the public directory for 30 days
- Your account reverts to the Free plan
