# Plans Overview

> What each plan includes, pricing, and how the billing cycle works.

## Plans

The annual plan gives you **2 months free**, equivalent to a 17% discount. The amount is charged as a single annual payment.

## What is an issuance?

An **issuance** is a certificate sent to a recipient. Each issuance:

* Generates a unique SHA-256 hash for verification
* Delivers the certificate by email and, when enabled, by WhatsApp
* Counts toward your monthly limit
* Remains active after issuance

An event with 50 recipients consumes 50 issuances.

## Billing cycle

Your quota renews on your **billing cycle date** — that is, the day your subscription started, not the first day of each month.

Example: if you subscribed on March 15, your quota renews on the 15th of every month.

## What happens when you cancel

* **Already-issued certificates** remain active and verifiable
* **New issuances** are blocked immediately
* **Events** remain visible in the public directory for 30 days
* Your account reverts to the Free plan
