# Receive and Share

> The complete recipient journey: from notification to sharing your achievement.

## Receiving achievements

When an issuer recognizes your participation or performance in an event, you receive a notification via **email** and, when available, via **WhatsApp**. The notification includes the issuer's name, the event, the reason for recognition, and an image of the 3D trophy.

<Steps>
  <Step title="You receive the notification">
    An email is sent with a direct link to accept the achievement. The notification also appears in the bell icon inside the platform. WhatsApp delivery depends on the issuer's plan and the availability of the recipient's phone number.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Create your account or sign in">
    If you don't have an account yet, you'll be invited to create one. The link auto-fills your email.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Accept or decline">
    Review the achievement details and choose **Accept** or **Decline**.
  </Step>

  <Step title="The achievement goes to your profile">
    When you accept, the certificate is created and appears on your [Achievement Wall](/en/features/achievement-wall) and, if public, in the social feed as well.
  </Step>
</Steps>

<Warning>
  The acceptance link only works with the email used during issuance. If the issuer used a different address than your current account, create your account with the correct email or link that secondary email to your main account.
</Warning>

## Celebrating achievements

On the certificate page, any visitor can click the **Celebrate** button to send a confetti animation and register a like.

## Community credibility

The platform has both automatic and manual processes to reinforce achievement authenticity. If something seems incorrect, you can **report** it directly from the achievement interface.

All achievements are unique, traceable, and protected by a SHA-256 hash, which helps ensure their authenticity and integrity.
